The 2006-7 Winter knock out final was played on a beautiful spring day at Hamptworth Golf Centre. One thing was sure as the two rivals teed off that we would have a new champion as neither had won the Bentley Cup before. Geoff soon established a two hole lead over Kris. Kris was rather off colour with his game and as it progressed the final turned into a one sided affair. Eventually Geoff Dear sealed victory on the 15th hole to establish a 4 & 3 winning margin. |
